Hey people, it had sure been a long time since I written something here.

There was a lot of things that had happened then... ...
Talking about the latest,

1st November 2008
I took my ABRSM Grade 5 Theory Examination.
It was around City Hall area.
It was easy yet tricky.
It took me 2 hours to really complete the paper.
Actually I took an hour to complete it but
I spent another hour checking for careless mistakes and I found
that I did had a lot of careless mistakes.

I am officially not a retain student anymore.
I am now a retained student not a retain student.
I am promoted to Secondary 4 Express next year.
Well, holidays are ON!!!

Today I was late for school.
First time I took the new format pink form (late form)
I woke up around 10am.
And then I started preparing to go to school.
I left home at 11:10am.
Reached West Coast Road around 11:40am.
It was raining so I was waiting for the rain to stop.
Reached school at 11:50am.
Security Guard asked me for Student pass.

Went for Chinese Lesson.
Chinese paper got A2, 74/100
Sad... ...
I hope that my overall can pull my marks up.

Miss How is irritating teacher, seriously irritating.

Thanks to my BB brother, Joshua, for the dinner treat today.

Thanks for my classmates who invited me for tomorrow's class outing.
Hope that tomorrow would not rain :)

Didn't had breakfast.

Biology did not get A grade.
E maths also didnt get A grade.

Yesterday, 15th August 2008
was just another normal day.
Actually, it was a special day.

I was purposely late for school.
Mark caught up with me while I
walked past Jamiyah Nursing home.
He told me 7:30am was the offical
late time when I will get the pink
form. Which is the late form.
And when you get the pink form,
the school would call up your
parents.

Mark and I jay walked instead of
waiting for the traffic light to
turn into the green walking man.
Reached school at 7:25am with Mark.
And had to wait until the National
Anthem and Pledge to pass.
Mark was afraid of Miss Chai this morning.
If he is found out that he is late for
school again, Miss Chai would tell his
parents. Well, his parents told Miss
Chai to give extra attention to Mark.
As his Mum was called up as he had
received the pink form.

During Maths lesson, I did not bring
textbook because the day before
was already the Maths test. But
Mr Tan insist that we have to continue
with new topics. He was angry so
he punished those who did not
brought maths textbook. He even
confiscated the handphones of those
who did not bring textbook.

I was one of them.

I was damn pissed off by him once
again. He made us copy topic 7.3
excluding colourful pictures and
some exercises. I used both sides
of the A4 size paper. Some just
follow exactly 4 pages just like
the textbook. Then during recess at
10:30am I went to look for him and
retrieve my handphone. I almost
took the wrong phone because it looked
identical to my W910i. Except that the
other w910i does not have screen protector.

When Mr Tan Eng Wee took my phone. I was
directly cursing him and saying that since
he like to collect handphone so much.
Why not open an handphone shop?

After maths was Physics lesson.
Also know as the most insignificant
lesson because the whole class
on had to copy answers from the
whiteboard only. interesting right?
Well, luckily that day was only
1 period of Physics. If not I would
had been bored to death.

Follow on was 2 periods of
Social Studies lesson
It is known as the most boring
subject in my life. It is not
my SS teacher, Mdm Sutinah's problem.
The problem is from the subject itself.
I was sleeping during the 2nd period.

After Recess was Chinese lesson.
During that 1 period which is 30
minutes. Everyone was very obedient.
Every student was quiet and patience.
Everyone did their workbook comprehansion
corrections and Mrs Pek was suprised!

Lastly was 2 periods of English lesson
with the hell teacher Mrs Jane Chng.
Another simple and insutling joke.

Lim Hui Min, LHM = FHM?
Ultra lame and insulting right!

Yesterday night went to Bugis
with my cousins and Godmother.
Walked to Bugis Street, OG
and Sim Lim Square. I had
brought a new red sling bag from
Bugis street.The Zinc brand
sling bag costed me $35.
It is red in colour and not pink please... ...

I guess the flash had made it look like pink... ...

Included in the bag, a laptop casing.

Had dinner at Long John Silver.
Finally took bus 960 from Bugis
and then back home at Woodlands.

Common Test Period

Alrights, after tomorrow.
It is declared that I had passed
through half of my Examination period.

I heard that the Secondary 4 had English Oral today.

And something unfortunate happened.
My calculator was in Radian mode throughout
the Maths test. It was supposed to be in Degree
mode most of the time and Radian mode for a
few questions. I did not know about it until
James told me as he saw the Radian sign in
my calculator. I was in serious depression at
that moment.

It just seemed to me that my classmates are
improving dramastically. Very dramatic... ...
Classmates like James, Manfred, Roxanne... ...
It just scares me to see them getting better
and better. But it is good for them as well
as the reputation of the class.

I am getting lousier and lousier.
Today Maths and Chinese tests was
both easy and difficult to answer the
questions. I struggled, a lot!

Tomorrow would be Biology test.
What would happen tonight and later.
I don't know. Everything just seemed so
uncertain and scary. I need to continue to
study more, seriously.

Anyway, I learnt something significant
from Mrs Jane Chng from English lesson
today. Sentence can be made up of
Simple, Compound and Complex types.

Simple is just an independent sentence.
While Compound is two independent
sentence joined together and can be
break up back in to their independent
sentence. Finally, complex sentence
includes an dependent sentence and
an independent sentence. Dependent
sentence uses in spite of, despite and
although.

In summary, this week I had English,
Literature, Chinese, Maths and tomorrow's
Biology. I hope that I can manage tomorrow's
Biology test :)

Test, test, test fever but you don't have to
show it. I am still having body acne on my
back. Back as in the back with the backbone.
Lols, I hope you understand. And there is one
irritating one on the right side of my neck... ...

I am going to continue to stufy my Biology soon.

12th August 2008 - Beginning of Common Test

I should describe this period
as disaster and struggling period.

This afternoon,
I had English Common Test (CT).
It tested us on Summary.
Well, the trick is that we would
only need to summarise from
Paragraph 5 to 8.
Yes, Para. 5 to 8, within 150 words.
Seriously, anyway words beyond and
exceeding 150 words would not be
counted in as a point.

One word, Stress... ...
I did not really prepared for Summary.
As my teacher only had informed us
that we are ONLY tested on Summary.
And we are given an hour to do so.

For ROXANNE:
Anyway, Roxanne, all the best and
best wishes for your ABRSM
Grade 5 piano practical tomorrow :)
Don't worry to much, just practice more
and express your music well and you
will not only pass but score well.

Tomorrow's CT would be Literature.
We are tested on Character Analysis
as well as Conflict and Resolution.
Basically, the test is focusing on
Unseen Prose. Wish me luck and
pray for wisdom to come upon me.

This morning I had accidentally
tore one of my contact lens.
I was frustrated and irritated, totally.
Then I did not style my hair and went
to school with a foul mood.
Today, was a bad bad extremely
bad day for me... ...

Kenn's design is very unique and difficult in terms of technique that requires.

Bernard's workpiece stands out because his cam is the
most smooth and it seemed effortless when I turned the handle.

Today is Olympics Day
And today is also National Day Celebration in School.
Tomorrow is National Day

And Next Tuesday is Common Test Week.
Each Common Test Paper is after school.
Well, how should I measure my readiness
for this common test?

I would rate it 5/10 which is very low... ...

I am not confident of this coming common test.
And the marching pass of the different countries
for Olympics is boring me... ...

It is also beacause I am lack of patience.

Although I had rated myself 5 out of 10.
It does not mean that I will get results which is 50%
Gosh, China Sports team is coming in... ...
It is 639 strong sport representives for
this year's Olympics.

a drama which is very hilarious.

It is a Jap Drama.

Yesterday~~~

I had edited my new blogskin template, Underneath the Stars.
Added tagboard, photos, friends and relatives blog links.

Time for me to say this again.
Common Test is coming very soon!
The first paper is on next Tuesday, 12th August 2008.
I should be asking myself and people who are going to
have Exams should ask themselves this question... ...

"Am I really prepared for my upcoming Examinations?"

Are you starting your preparation already or you are just thinking
the following thoughts?

"Ai ya, the dae b4 exam den i study lahs, i wan 2 play me game"

"I m lazy lahs"

"Common Test so easy don nid study also canz"

"CT = no kicks lahs"

"CT use common sense can score well liaos"

"I cant b bothered bout CT, 15% of overall final result, wateva lah"

"I m workin hard nw, don disturb me playin my game!"

"Game mre easy than studies"

"I haven complete my game!"

"My game veri fun leh"

"I cant let go euff my PSP"

"Pls lahs, study 4 exam 4 wat, waste time onli"

"I prefer burnin mid night oil for exams"

Well, c'mon, face it. You have to study to achieve good results.
What for, you give yorself so much excuses for just Common Test.
15% does affect your final results. You need to start early revision.
PSP, Computer and Television should not be fully or partly your life.
Just at most spend a period or 2 (I mean half an hour or an hour) at most.
If you overindulged, you will suffer in Examinations.

A Student's Goal now is to study for Exams.
A period which textbooks, workbooks, pens, papers and even assessment books
should appear much more frequently and longer hours as examination draw near.
My friend told me this, "Common Test use Common Sense can do well study hard also no use"
Well, I can only say to my friend, "If you are lucky, you will do well for CT, but you will lose out in Final Year."
However, I did not told my friend directly to his face.

Recently, I did an experiment. I studied 2 days before my chinese spelling.
And guess what happened on the actual day?
I only had to spend around 5 minutes to recall what I had learn that day.
And when the test ended, I managed to remember 9 questions.
(Well, the fact that I missed out the 10th Question... ...
is that I had missed the word out, laugh out loud)
This is how effective when you actually study early.
What for struggle and struggle the day before the test?
Just take time to do your early revision and you will sure have more time to ask more questions.

Alrights, back to normal posting.

Once again, I have to say that I hate Mrs Chng.
She gave us a Literature work.
there was 2 questions and guess what?
She wants us to write 1 full A4 size paper for just 1 question.
Which means this 2 questions will fill up both sides of the foolscape paper.
Furthermore, my lesson with her was just before recess. (How nice... ...)
I guess in future I don't have to elaborate and you will understand what I mean. (Late recess... ...)
Well, the Unseen text was just 3/4 page and she wants us to write 2 full A4 size pages for 2 dumb questions.
Well, she named her homeroom, her classroom as 'H - E Double L'
(Hell)
Yes, and she's right, HELL.
What is the even worst place then hell?
Can anyone tell me about it?
Then I shall suggest to Mrs Chng to change it to the name of the place which is worst than hell.

And great that my school Principal, Mrs Karen Oei did not talk during morning assembly on Tuesday and Wednesday!

Today, Miss Sharon Gan was on course so Mrs Jacob relief my class.
And she was responsible enough so she, as a Biology teacher too, taught my class on the chapter on Excretion.
Well, I like the way she teach. She does not only teach the basics but she would
also link to other chapters that are related to the topic on Excretion.
But after sometime, I had went into 'KO'(sleepy))mode.
And just nice, she had stopped teaching the class. A good day for me :)
But at times, or most of the time, she is quite naggy. She would lecture as about life.
And I love one of the sentence she said.

"Do not disrespect knowledge"

You know why she said that?
It is because everything in this World is made through knowledge.
And knowledge is stored into the brains of human beings.

Just think about your latest mobile phone model.
Your slim and light weight laptop.
Your previous phone which had only infra-red and your current phone which has only bluetooth.
Faster internet speed, CD-R/CD-RW/DVD-R/DVD-RW, M2/Mini SD card and wireless connection.
Just think about every SINGLE things in your life, around your life and throughout your life.

You MUST, it is NECESSARY for you to Love and Appreciate knowledge :)
Think about your tax pay-ers money and your parents as well as your future.

Ask yourself this question.

"Should I play and enjoy my life first and suffer a thousand times more in future"

OR

"Study hard and achieve better grades so that I can stay in the above average group in the competition"

OR

"Play Hard and Work Hard as long as I maintain the balance between the 2, have good Time Management and have Self-Discipline"

Whoa, this week was rather fast as time flies.

Which means exams are even coming on its way

This week's most irritating teacher of the week is

Mrs Jane Chng!

She just can't stop givin homework.

Can't STOP!

And she have mood swings as well as venting anger

to control the class.

Well, life would be better she can do more meaningful stuff other than

HomeWORK as weLL aS ClassWORK.

But she is beginning to teach more but

I guess I just finD it fruitfulEsS

It is Sunday today!

And it is soon time to

Well, yesterday, there was a National Day Dinner
around my area, Bukit Batok.
There was some Campus Superstars singers,
not so famous, Project Superstar, also not so famous,
and Celebrities came down for performance.
I saw another artist who is famous but~~~
I don't know his name... ...

Yesterday, I went to TOWN (Orchard Road)
straight after Piano Lesson.
I went there to be a 'wandering ghost'

Lols.

I was just kept wandering around.
Oh ya... ... This time I didn't took any photos.
Hehes... ...
So there's no prove ya... ...
But It was really enjoyable!
Saw a LIVE jamming session at Far East.
By a band name... ... (I forgot the name liaos)Hehes... ...
But it was really great, great male vocalist.
I want to have his voice quality!!!

I was at Orchard from 6pm to 9pm.
Then took bus 174 from Youth Park to Bukit Batok, LOLS!
It was a tiring day... ...
When reached Bukit Batok, I went to watch the National Day
Dinner performance.
Then brought dinner, Chicken Chop and 1.5litres Sprite.

Don't feel like blogging much.

Well, I was thinking that I am actually wasting my time blogging because only around 20 viewers come to my blog each day. What for waste my time to blog? Shouldn't I be studying at my study desk now? Instead of blogging and wasting my minutes on computer and acculmuate the time and spend on working on my topics in different subjects?

I did not go for Guzheng for this whole week. And I want to skip Boys' Brigade Parade tomorrow. I had been going home as early as I can after school. And spending my time on the computer, piano, taking a nap and slacking at home. I am leading a very simple and lonely life. This is the path I had chosen to take. If I want a lively life, I should be organising outings and activities, asking people out to window shopping and even just go to a park and take a stroll down the pathway.

Why not keep a healthy lifestyle? Have a balance and fruitful day by exercising with your friends and keep your emotion into happy mood. Which is also good for the mental health. You should now decide how you want to make full use or good use of the hours you have in a day.

Be a wise man and not a lazy man

Be a generous man and yet not a petty man

Serve and not complain

I can only say that time is precious. Please make sure that you treasure the beloved ones around you. Before it is too late to realise how important they are to you. Be confident of yourself and live your life to the fullest instead of watching the television and stretching out your hands for money from parents. You should breakthrough in life and get out of the comfort zone you are in. Comfort zone refers to things like sleeping for long hours, using the computer, playing the computer games, watching television, lazy to do things especially housechores and day dreaming.

Today is Racial Harmony Day Celebrations at school.
We had special guest coming to our school.
And had this new 'Tanglin Workout'
As well as the highlights are Parent Support Group
performance and a short play skit by our very own students.

After that we went down to do our "Great Tanglin Workout'.
And everyone did a great job, seriously writing here.

I did had fun today. And I took some photos of my company's BB boys
who represent BB for Guest-of-Honour Contingent.

It is ME and my 'Zi Lian-ness' again : P

Today had P.E. which is after 2 periods of Chinese lesson.

Then I ran 6 rounds around the school soccer field.

Average was 1 minute and 22 seconds for each round.

3 rounds timing was 4 minutes and 8 seconds.

Good Try Jerry : )

And next week, Monday, is NAFA re-test and test for Pull-up.

I am afraid that I cannot do weel for pull-ups cause my arms are weak!

I missed last year's NAFA test cause I was always late for school.

So this year is my first year doing Pull-up for NAFA test.

And I want to retake my 2.4km run timing.

10 minutes and 21 seconds is too slow... ...

I am aiming for 9 minutes and 30 seconds.

My best timing was in 2006, Secondary 2, 9 minutes 40 seconds

I am going to start preparing for Common Test from today onwards.

I need to stop blogging in the weekdays starting from today.

I went to school in the morning as usual.
Today was a normal and usual day.
School ended at 12:40pm and I went home straight.
I carried a haversack bag full of books and a sling bag full of clothes.
Had already planned to go back to Bukit Batok.
I had skipped Boys' Brigade training that day.

I went back and brought lunch and a new watch.
Totally white :)
I wanted to buy it long ago.
But I was lazy to go to Bugis :P
Next watch that I am aiming for is a nice watch.
Those that guys wears to office :)
Style !!!

I slept at 4am that night.
And woke up at 12:30pm the next day.

I spent the whole afternoon preparing myself for that night's dinner.
Founders' Man Award Presentation dinner.
My BB brothers are getting the award.
And I am going to attend the dinner.
9-course meal :)
Benjamin called me and sms-ed me to ask me whether I am going.
Had a difficult time to decide on what clothes to wear
and style what kind of hairstyle.
First day that I used my Gatsby Moving Rubber :)

Went for Piano lesson as usual.
3:45pm to 4:45pm.
Then went to the Bus-stop near Dover MRT station
to wait for Miss Chai's car.
Singapore Swimming Club at Tanjong Rhu Road.
Near East Coast Park.

She is fetching Mr Tie and me to the place.
Reached the place and had some trouble to find a parking place.
Then reached Ban Heng Resturant at 6:15pm.
Overall, we took a lot of photos that day.
Had fun and the event ended at 10:15pm.

Went back with Nevin, Benjamin, Yan Hui and Mr Tie.
Took a bus then train.
The bus went pass Geylang, hahas.
Saw a lot of durians.
Most of them were size of a BASKETBALL!
Each and everyone, no joke.
Had stomachache along the way back.
Those kind of stomachache which you want to go to the toilet.
But I holded it until I reached home.

Brought supper first.
Nasi Lemak at Bukit Batok Coffeeshop.
Reached home around 12:30am.
2 piece chicken wing, egg and lots of chilli.
Was full and kept using computer.
Slept around 5am that day.
Woke up around 11am today.

I will upload photos next time.
And this blogskin is giving me a lot of trouble.
The Tagboard colume kept moving to the Blog post column centre.
And I had to rewrite the number in my blog Template... ...
And adjust it again and again and again.
But I still like this blogskin :P
Even though it kept giving me problems.

I am at my Elder Sister home now to visit my Nephew :)

Today school was terrible.
Especially with Mrs Jane Chng and Miss Sharon Gan.

Their names = HOMEWORK and more HOMEWORKs

I reached school early.
I woke up then went to wear contact lens, style my hair,
brush my teeth and wore my school uniform.
Usual routine... Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah... ...

When the train I board reached Clementi.
I saw Mr Andy Mickey and Mr Sia going down the escalator.
Then I walked to school, went up to the hall to play the piano.
Had morning assembly in Mr Mohan's homeroom,
cause he is my Form Teacher.

Some Japanese schools came to our school for Exchange programme.
Same schools as last year. But this year was not very interesting.
Didn't see a lot of Beauty an Handsome. So boring.

Miss Deborah Lim came late for class.
I was joking with Geraldine about her name.

Laugh Out Loud!

Had some National Day Parade slideshow presentation
during Assembly before school end.
I went to play the piano after assembly and show-ed off my skills.
Some of them were impressed.
My classmates, cause we had to pass up our work in the hall before
we can go home. And pass it up to who? Mrs Jane Chng.
She totally spoiled my day.

During English class I said "what the hell"
She said "I know hell is 4 letter word and chng is also 4 letter word"
I said "what the chng!"
Then she came and rub my back... ...
With her palm.
I was about to fal asleep during Mrs Chng lesson.
Cause Literature is like damn damn boring.
Miss Sharon Gan was far much more irritating.
She almost made us copy the whole chapter on
respiration and including the diahgrams.
So lame can, and her lesson was as usual, boring... ...
But did learn a bit of information, mind you, a bit!!!

Nothing much to blog today.

During English Class I was feeling tired.
After English was Biology class.
I was exceptionally high in mood.
I was feeling mentally well.
So I kept talking, joking and laughing during Biology class.
Then Miss Sharon Gan was angry.
Until she made us learn Human Repiratory System by ourselves
and we have to submit our 100 words summary to her.
I was pissed off and irritated.
Damn you Miss Gan!

Played Piano during recess.
Reached school early as usual.
Played piano before morning Assembly.
Had Form Teacher's Period at the end of the day.
And went back home straight after school.
Played Lumines Block on the way home in the MRT train.
Listen to MP3 on the way home.
Did my English and Biology homework.
